My Picture: Try or Die
In art we were making pictures about something we would change about the world or something we liked. I choose to do world peace because I don’t like the wars. I’m hearing news about how may people have been ingured, and it just makes me hurt to think that kids just like me in other countries could be getting killed because of us. (America)

I hate wars too. I feel like a died fish. I slept intil almost 12:00pm and I have nothing to do. I got my mom sick and all she’s done is sleep and call her friends and tell them of her misery. I love your picture. Thank you for writing to me.

I totaly agree with you Meghan. World peace is really important, althoug I’m not a hippy. I hope you know that. And it is true that tons (or less, I’m not sure) are getting killed brcause or us. America ! )

While I support your efforts regarding World Peace, it is wise to remember that there are always two sides to a story…for instance, remember that the people that killed over 3,000 Americans on 9/11 did so with war on their minds. Our war in Afghanistan was started to try to find the people that did this to our country. The war in Iraq is harder to justify, and I am very glad that it is almost over and that our troops are leaving there.
I would like for everyone in the world to be able to respect and honor our differences and live together in support of one another. That would really bring about World Peace. The work that kids like you all are doing will definitely make our world a better place. I am very proud of all of you! XOXOXO Mom
